"Grell! What are you doing here?", Sebastian asked, infuriated and confused at the same time. The red reaper grinned, amused by the reaction his arrival had recieved.
"Well I'm here for two reasons; first because I wouldn't be able to bear the thought of you being married my dear Sebastian, and second because I was told to come here. We've been monitering her", here he pointed to Rebecca ,"for weeks."
Rebecca was particularly unnerved by the prospect that her every move was being monitored.
"But why have you been watching me?", she asked.
Grell picked at his nails inattentively. "Your record in the library changed. It said that you had become a demon. The Dispatch decided not to take immediate action because they wanted to see what you would do. We've been sending people here to watch you on two-day intervals, and today just so happened to be my turn. But unlike the others, I prefer to make my presence known."
Sebastian instinctively stepped in front of Rebecca, the mistrustful gaze on his face aimed at Grell.
"You aren't going to try to kill her again, are you?"
The reaper's grin widened. "Unfortunately not. I've been given strict orders from William not to harm her."
Coincedently, the reaper just mentioned showed up next to Grell, knocking the latter on the head.
"Sutcliff, didn't I tell you not to leave your post?"
Grell rubbed his injured cranium. "Sorry Will", he grumbled ,"But Bassy's getting married and I don't want him to. Besides, you know I'm not good at sitting on the sidelines and watching."
William frowned. "Yes, I do know. Which is why I can't understand why they would send you of all people." He turned to the wedding party and gave a curt bow. "I apologize for the disturbance we have caused. I assure you that we will be keeping a closer watch on him", he looked pointedly at Grell ,"in the future." His gaze shifted to rest on Rebecca. "As for you, you shall be monitered regularly until you have been deemed to not be a threat."
He bowed a second time before disappearing with his fellow reaper.
Ther other Phantomhive servants looked around in confusion, besides Tanaka who had run out of steam long ago. "Who the 'ell were those two?", Bard asked. "I dunno. They seemed kinda strange", said Finny. "That man in the black suit was certainly attractive, yes he was", said Mey-rin whose nose was now bleeding.
Ciel cleared his throat to call attention back to the matter at hand.
"Now, if there aren't any more interruptions.... I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Rebecca threw herself into Sebastian's arms, not caring if her dress became wrinkled or if her hair came undone. Nothing else mattered, for Sebastian was her world, her reason for existence. With him, she could endure anything. From then on, they'd be together for eternity, forever and always.
